The PSAT is good practice for all students, and this is the National Merit Scholarship qualifying test for 11th graders. The cost is $20. Sign up in the guidance office.

On Saturday, Oct. 1st if you find your child(ren) has no internet...
Any student, K-12, who does not have the Online Information Form filled out by Saturday will have all internet access cut off. Any student who has a NO on their AUP section of that form will also be shut off. This is county policy that is required by state policy for federal funding. These accounts will be turned back on as the student information form is filled out online.

If you do not have internet at your home you may call the school secretary and give the information over the phone to them.

Parents and student drivers: Parent drop-off occurs behind the school at the concourse entrance. Please drive between the bus garage and CTE building to go to the back of the school. Parent pick-up is located in the lower lot by the Wrestling Barn. During school dismissal, please do not drive into the upper lots where the buses are loading. Senior drivers exit the school grounds by driving behind the school and out by the bus garage. Thank you!

Attention 11th and 12th graders! Parking Permit Applications are available online and in the main office at PHS. You must have a 2.0 GPA to qualify. Completed applications along with a copy of proof of insurance, registration, and driver's license will be collected on 8/15/22 from 1pm to 6pm. Preston County Schools will be conducting the fall speech and audiology screenings/rechecks in our schools. Speech/Hearing screenings are scheduled to take place August 29 through October 12, 2022.
Students who will be screened are as follows:
(1) All students entering school for the first time who have not been screened at school.
(2) All students who have been referred for speech or hearing re-screenings; and
(3) Any teacher referrals for screening.
Parents will be notified if any student should not pass the screenings.
