Bus 68, Mark Knotts, will not be making the afternoon run. Your child will need picked up at school. If your child attends Preston High a bus will bring them to TAEP.
Parents: This is a reminder that SAT and PSAT testing will take place tomorrow at PHS for juniors, sophomores, and freshmen. All students who are testing should bring their own calculators to use on the test. They will report to their testing rooms after breakfast, and seniors will report to the gym. Students must have their cell phones turned off during testing; if there is an emergency and you need to contact your student, please call the school. Please refrain from picking your students up from school until after 12pm if at all possible. Have a nice evening!

Parents: On Wednesday, April 13, juniors will be participating in the SAT School Day exam, which serves as the statewide exam for West Virginia high schools. Additionally, sophomores will be taking the PSAT 10, and freshmen will be taking the PSAT 8/9 on that day. All juniors, sophomores, and freshmen should bring a calculator to school with them on April 13 to use on the calculator portion of the exams. Students should come well-rested so that they can do their best on test day. Thank you and have a nice day!
The Grandfamilies Program in Preston County provide educational workshops
that provide support to grandparent caregivers. They will cover the day-to-day
challenges that happen while raising a grandchild.
The program is free to attend and will be held in the evening for two hours. See picture for dates, locations and times
Preston County Schools is accepting applications for substitute cooks, custodians, and aides through the end of the week. Interested applicants need to visit the job posting site at https://prestonboe.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx
In addition, the required classes and testing for each of these jobs are scheduled for this week with the class for custodians beginning at 8 AM and for cooks at 10 AM at the BOE Boardroom on Thursday, April 7th. The class for aides is scheduled to begin at 8 AM at the BOE on Friday, April 8th.
