Boy’s Basketball sign-ups for grades 6-8 are going on now. The sign-up sheet is located at the gym. Flex practices begin this Wednesday from 4-6, with tryouts occurring on November 7th. You do not have to attend flex in order to try out, but it’s highly advisable. You will need your physical, proper clothes and a water source for flex practices and tryouts. One change to the schedule is no flex on the 24th, but another date will be added. If there are any questions contact coach Kyle Fike or the school.

Just a reminder that PCS will be dismissing 2 hours early on Friday, October 21, 2022.

If you do not have internet at your home you may call the school secretary and give the information over the phone to them.

As you know we recently hosted an all school live stream event called The NED Show. We trust your student was encouraged by the show which inspires everyone to become Champions at school and in life!
The NED Show yo-yos are still available for purchase at school to support the free show and message. If your student has already purchased a yoyo, here is an important link to help them get off to a good start with proper string length adjustment - https://www.thenedshows.com/string-adjusting
Additionally, here are a couple of our favorite follow up home resources from The NED Show website. You may want to use these with your child as they are designed to go hand in hand with the program.

And don’t forget to ask your student what they learned in the show about Never giving up, Encouraging others and Doing your best!
Educating together!

The Ned show will be returning to TAEP on Monday, September 12th for a virtual program @ 1 pm. Sales for yo-yo’s will run from 9/12 to 9/16 in the mornings.
Also, lines are painted and all parking and drop-off/pick-up procedures are back to normal.

Please take the time to complete the following survey as it relates to how we plan the spending of our Title 1 Federal Funds and parent engagement throughout the school year. This will also relate to communication with the school. It will only take a couple of minutes. Thank you.

Paving is officially completed. Thanks for all your patience as we’ve navigated this. Tomorrow or Saturday, weather pending, they will be painting the lines out front. All staff will be parking in the rear and side lots, but parent drop off can occur out front as normal. Regular bussing paths and drop offs will resume as well. If painted tomorrow, it will be dry by the end of the day. If not, then we kindly ask that no one parks, or buses aren’t left out front over the weekend. Again, thank you for your patience. We’re very happy with the finished product and hope you are too.

Paving continues tomorrow. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we get this complete. The finished product will make a world of difference, so please bare with us just a couple more days. For tomorrow, drop-off in the morning needs to be around back again, as the front lot will just be for bus drop off. Please follow the road all the way around and drop off at the sidewalk by the greenhouse. PHS students will again need to find alternative parking. In the afternoon, parent pick-up will run the same and buses will be lining up beginning at 2:05 to get the students on the side of the building. If you have to sign your child out early, please call the office for instructions. Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
