Preston County Schools enjoys being able to host board meetings throughout the year at each of our county schools. This affords us additional opportunities to recognize the individual schools, programs, and businesses and/or leaders from those communities. October's meetings were held at both Aurora and Terra Alta Schools. During the meeting at Aurora, the Bears XC team was recognized for their outstanding season and their girls' winning of the county championship. While at Terra Alta, principal Craig Schmidl was able to recognize Leslie Bolyard of LEC Market, not only for her continued support of Terra Alta East Preston, but the markets support of many of our schools across the county.
We will be having a Halloween Dance on Friday, October 30th, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. This dance is for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students only, and no outside guests may attend. The $5 admission fee includes a snack and a drink. Other concessions will be available for purchase. Students must attend school on Friday, October 30th to be allowed to attend the dance.
