TAEP: Please read all announcements: Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Elementary Holiday Program beginning at 1:00, with tomorrow's theme day being, "Wear Your Holiday Best." Parents can begin coming to the gym at 12:30. We will also livestream the program on Facebook. Second, if you have a student in grades K-5, they each received a copy of the book, "Winter According to Humphrey." You are encouraged to read this book with your student over the break, or have them read it to you. See the attached flyer, or on Facebook, but there is also a website where you can record your student's progress, let us know what you think of the book, as well as watch read aloud videos of the book, courtesy of the Preston High School National Honors Society. Lastly, if you had Portland Coffee orders, they will be available following the program tomorrow.

Lastly, since there was no school today, tomorrow will be both plaid and/or flannel day, as well as tree-topper day where students can wear Santa hats, reindeer antlers or fun holiday headbands. In response to a notification by the district's food vendor (Gordon Food Service), referencing a product recall related to potential contamination with salmonella of several Quaker Oats products including Quaker Chewy Granola Bar Cookies and Cream that were distributed through the backpack food program that services multiple district schools during the month of December. Efforts are being made to remove the impacted product from any further distributions. However, please discard any recalled items that have been distributed prior to the recall notice.

TAEP: Just a reminder that tomorrow kicks off holiday spirit week, so wear red and green to get the week started. We will be live streaming the assembly and MS Band/Choir concert tomorrow. We will make a decision by day's end pending weather on the evening concert. Also, just a correction in schedule for basketball previously put out, our home games against South are on Thursday the 21st, not Tuesday the 19th. Sorry for any confusion.

TAEP - Due to the current weather and potential for rain still lingering, for the sake of our instruments and students, the band will not be performing in the holiday parade this evening in Terra Alta. We apologize for those who worked so hard and were looking forward to seeing the hard work pay off, but have to take into account our students and not wanting to ruin instruments.
