Just a reminder that this week is National School Counseling Week. To celebrate the week, our wonderful counselors, and the services and guidance they provide to our students, we will be have a spirit week. Tomorrow's dress up day is Pajama Day, where we want to remind all of the kids to dream big.
Next week is National School Counseling Week. To celebrate the week, our wonderful counselors, and the services and guidance they provide to our students, we will be have a spirit week. Monday, February 5th will be Pajama Day, followed by Sports Day (Jerseys or Team Colors), Kindness Day (Bright Colors), Career Day (For the job you want), and Marvel Day (Superhero shirts). We will send out a reminder each evening before of what the next day's dress up day is.
Attendance calls will begin Monday, February 5. Calls for students in grades K – 8 will go out at 12 pm if a student was marked absent for a full or half day. Calls for students grades 9 – 12 will go out at 5 pm if the student was marked absent at some point throughout the day (the call will include periods absent). Calls will come from the Preston County Schools automated calling system via the county’s phone number 304-329-0580 and will include the student’s first and last name and the school the student attends. Families who have opted out of calls will not receive these calls. Questions regarding student attendance issues should be directed to the student’s school of record.
3 FUN nights around the corner. Years ago we made the decision rather than sell to fundraise, let's host some fun evenings and events. These positive nights out support our positive behavior rewards and incentive trips at the school. Hope to see you at one or all. First one up is our first round of decades-themed trivia on Saturday, February 17th. Decades dress is highly encouraged and there may even be a prize for the best dressed team. Any questions, feel free to contact the school. Food, fun and competition. What's not to love?

Just a reminder that tomorrow evening's basketball games are FREE. That's right. FREE. We want to both thank our Eagle fans and pack the house for 8th grade night. Girls take the court at 5:45. 8th grade recognition will begin immediately following, then the boys play after. Hope to see you all there in your blue and gold.
The WVU Society of Women Engineers and the WVU Statler College Of Engineering will host a day camp for girls in grades K - 5 on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 9 am - 2 pm on the Evansdale Campus of WVU. Registration is required to attend - online at: BIT.LY/GSD2024

Our apologies for the change, but due to the need for set-up and preparations for tomorrow evening's BINGO event in the cafeteria, there will be no Bible Club after school tomorrow, Friday the 26th. Again, sorry for the cancellation and we look forward to seeing the kids at our next meeting.
Preston County Schools will hold PreK and kindergarten registration this Friday, January 26th from 9 am to 2 pm. Information concerning school locations for registration is provided on prestoncountyschools.com under menu, parents/students, enrollment. To register for PreK, the child must be 4 years old by July 1st (No Exceptions). To register for kindergarten, the child must be 5 years old by July 1st. Only NEW students need to register for kindergarten; if your child is currently enrolled in PreK you do not need to register.
