These fourth graders represented Kingwood Elementary at the Preston County Social Studies Fair today at the Kingwood Community Building. You have made us extremely proud, and we are anxiously awaiting for the results to be announced at tonight's awards ceremony!

KES Families: This is a friendly reminder that there are to be NO VEHICLES in ANY of our MAIN PARKING LOTS during morning arrival (7:15-7:45) or evening dismissal procedures (2:15-2:45)! This is to ensure that buses and those traveling by foot can safely enter and exit. In the past week there have been several near collisions due to vehicles entering and exiting against the flow of traffic. Please also be reminded that, per family request, this is monitored by law enforcement daily.

KES Families: Please be advised that the date for Boys Grasshopper Tryouts was INCORRECT on the flier that went home. Boys’ 3rd/4th Grade tryouts will be on TUESDAY, February 25th, from 6-7PM. Girls’ 3rd/4th Grade tryouts will be MONDAY, February 24th, from 7:15-8:15PM. Both tryouts will be in the KES gym.
