We spent the week celebrating the incredible growth, achievements, and relationships built throughout the school year. From classroom moments to school-wide activities, it was a joyful time of reflection and celebration with our students.
A huge thank you to our families and community stakeholders for your ongoing support and partnership throughout the year. We couldn’t do it without you!
Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing, and wonderful summer!

After School Explorers is a federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Center program focused on supporting student success while also strengthening family and community involvement. Throughout the year, students participated in a variety of STEM-related activities, service-based projects, and interactive presentations that helped extend real-world learning beyond the traditional classroom setting.
A special thank you goes to Ms. Susan Daetwyler and her staff for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to making this program such a success for our students. Their efforts continue to create meaningful opportunities and experiences that positively impact our school community!

A huge thank you to all of our guest presenters for sharing your time, wisdom, and interactive presentations with our students. Your willingness to invest in our school community helped make learning meaningful and memorable!
Special thanks to our school counselor, Mrs. Crystal Pell, for organizing another successful Career Day experience for our students. Opportunities like these help inspire our students to dream big and begin thinking about the many paths available to them!

A fun time was had by all! Thank you to our underclassmen for cheering on the teams and to all staff members who participated to help make this such a memorable experience for our students.
Good things happen when we set goals, work hard, and come together as a school family to achieve them!

These students saved up their STOMP tickets and purchased a special coupon at the STOMP Store just for the chance to get a little soapy while helping scrub down Mrs. Peaslee’s car!
Let’s just say…the car got a good cleaning, and a few students may have gotten washed along the way too!
At KES, following expectations and coming to school truly PAY OFF! We love celebrating students who work hard, make positive choices, and show up each day ready to learn.
Be sure to be at school for the next 7 days…you never know what exciting things might happen next!

Our third and fourth grade students rose to the challenge and knocked it out of the park by meeting their end-of-year iReady proficiency goals in BOTH ELA and Math!
To celebrate their hard work and dedication, students voted to earn the ultimate reward experience — a Staff vs. Students Kickball Game! Tomorrow morning, our students will take the field to see if they can continue their winning streak against the teachers!
We are so proud of the determination, perseverance, and growth our students demonstrated throughout the testing window. They set goals, worked hard, and achieved them together!
Good luck to both teams… but especially to our teachers!
