Today Mrs. Stump’s class went to work creating pumpkins with coordinate planes today in math class.




The Preston Squires Middle School Wrestling Team will be holding an informational meeting for all Preston County Middle School students sixth through eighth grade on Friday, November 4 at 6:30PM at the Wrestling Barn.

Girls basketball practice for this Monday, October 31st is cancelled.

The Scholastic Book Fair is back this week! Students will have the chance to visit the book fair during the school day at some point this week. Parents, families, and guests can visit on Family Night on Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm.

Bruceton School and our bus drivers dedicated a new hand-made bench to the memory of Terry Workman today. Everyone misses you Terry.


Mrs. Vrabel’s class held elementary Student Council Class Representative elections today. Students had to write a speech, turn in their speech notes ahead of time, and present their speech to the class sharing why they feel they are a great choice for Class Representative. The candidates and class showed tremendous RESPECT towards each other in the entire process! Congratulations to these students who showed courage to run for office!




Today, Mrs. White’s class conducted experiments using our five senses to distinguish flavors and smells of lollipops! 🍭




Tomorrow is costume day for Red Ribbon Week. Just a reminder that all costumes must be school appropriate. Students cannot wear masks or anything that covers the face. Any and all props must not depict anything that can be construed as dangerous.

Middle School Girls Basketball practice will begin Monday, October 31st from 5:00 - 6:30. Athletes must have a completed physical form to turn into the coach at practice or they must have a completed physical on file from this year’s cross country or volleyball season.

In celebration of Farm to School month, PCS will be serving sausage gravy over biscuits for lunch on Thursday, October 27. The sausage will be supplied by PHS Animal Processing.

It was a spooky day for guided reading in Mrs. Burnsworth’s class today. Kiddos got to read spooky stories by flashlight and complete creative writing around the campfire during guided reading today!
