What a performance by Bruceton Middle School at the Clay Battelle meet! 🐾🔥 Noah Belanger won the 100m and set a NEW school record (12.32) — again! Brooke Smith ran her first-ever 3200m and smashed the school record by nearly 30 seconds (13:47). Other standouts: Colleen Eisentrout (1st, 1600m), Eli Parker (1st, 3200m), Kelsey Jenkins (1st, 200m Hurdles), Archer Tichenor (1st, Discus), plus strong relay finishes (Girls 4x200 & 4x800 — both 2nd). Today, we are recognizing all PCS school bus drivers for taking care of our precious cargo during the school year. Today is nationally recognized as School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, but we appreciate these unsung heroes of the roads everyday. Whether they are transporting our kids to school, home, activities, or to sporting events, school bus drivers deserve recognition for the job they do. Thank you PCS Bus Drivers.

Students in grades 3-8 will be taking the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (GSA) soon. It is very important that students are present on testing dates. The following are testing dates for Bruceton School:

This week is nationally recognized as Volunteer Week, and PCS has some of the very best in our schools and school support organizations. We want to thank these volunteers for their selflessness, compassion, service, and impact throughout our schools and communities.

Today is National Administrative Professionals Day, but not just today, but everyday across PCS, we want to celebrate those people that keep things operational and running smoothly, our secretaries, assistants, and office staff. You'll need to bring a check for $5 made out to the Preston County Sheriff's Department. All other forms and paperwork will be provided at the training. Volunteer/chaperone training and background checks are mandated by the Preston County Board of Education for anyone wishing to chaperone a field trip or volunteer. This will be the last volunteer/chaperone training provided this school year.
