Middle & high school-aged students, but ALL kids 18 & under are welcome to attend and enjoy this fun filled, family friendly day of FREE aviation activities & opportunities to meet people representing many different aviation careers. Activities include flight simulators, sheet metal riveting, engine borescoping, aviation-themed jewelry and crafts, drones and MORE! There are Free giveaways & free parking! Just a reminder that the next volunteer and chaperone training session is Wednesday, September 17th at 5:00 in the computer lab. Anyone wishing to be a volunteer and/or chaperone must go through a training session. Please see the graphic for more information about the steps to become a volunteer and/or chaperone.

The Bruceton Bulldog Cross Country teams delivered an impressive performance this past weekend, kicking off with the Lightning XC Invitational at Broadford Park on Friday.
The Bulldog boys dominated the field, with Eli Parker claiming the top spot and Colt Spiker finishing right behind him in second. Jackson Wotring capped off a fantastic day for the team with a strong 9th place finish, solidifying his place among the top 10.
On the girls' side, 5th grader Elaina Armstrong showcased her talent, finishing 3rd overall against two exceptional 8th graders. Brooke Smith also made her mark, crossing the line in 8th place to secure a coveted ribbon.
Saturday morning saw 8th grade standout Tyler Parks head to Mineral Wells to compete against some of the state's finest at the Chick-fil-A Invitational. In a fierce race, Tyler exhibited his grit but ultimately placed 3rd, with all three top finishers smashing the meet record on a challenging muddy course.
The Bulldogs will look to keep the momentum going as they return to action on Saturday at the Aurora Race To Taste.

Bruceton Academic Boosters will meet this Tuesday at 6:00pm in the cafeteria. All are welcome to attend.

This Saturday is 5th grade's annual mum sale. You can purchase mums here at the school for $12 each beginning at 8:00am.

Middle school volleyball season begins tonight! Join us as our team takes on Central Preston here at home. First match begins at 6:00 and admission is $5.00.

Attendance Announcement - Students showing animals at this year's Buckwheat Festival, for school days 9/23-9/25, will be coded as out of school, school-approved extra-curricular or co-curricular activity.

Krispy Kreme donut order forms went home with students today. If you're interested in purchasing any, please see any student. All funds raised help pay for student and teacher supplies, classroom furnishings, curriculum, and more. Orders will be taken through September 22nd. Thank you for your help and support.

Next Friday, September 12th, will now be a two hour early dismissal day to afford additional training and meeting time for staff as a result of the eliminated staggered start to begin the year. Again, Friday, September 12th is now a two hour early dismissal from all schools in Preston County.

Bruceton Area Bus Announcement - Bus 29-22 Brett Slagle will not be running tomorrow.

On Monday, September 8th, 2025, the Preston County Board of Education is hosting a work session beginning at 4:30 PM for students, parents, staff and community members to discuss issues and concerns facing our schools, and how we can work together to improve our schools and district as a whole. Attendees will be permitted 3-5 minutes, depending on how many sign-in to speak at the work session. Questions regarding the scheduled work session can be directed to Brad Martin, Superintendent of Preston County Schools.
