We have just been notified by the transportation department that bus 29-23, Brett Slagle, will be a 'B' run for tonight, Friday, October 16th due to lack of substitutes. Students who normally ride bus 29-23, Brett Slagle will board and ride bus 5-19, Jim Eisentrout's bus at dismissal. Mr. Eisentrout will run his normal route and then proceed to run Mr. Slagle's route. Those students who normally ride bus 29-23, Brett Slagle's bus, will arrive home approximately 45 minutes late. If you wish to change your child's dismissal to parent pick-up for today due to this change, please contact the school as soon as possible at 304-379-2593.

Reminder (Upcoming Event - TOMORROW): On Monday, October 5th, 2026, the Preston County Board of Education is hosting a work session beginning at 5:30 PM for students, parents, staff, and community members to discuss issues and concerns facing our schools, and how we can work together to improve our schools and district as a whole. Attendees will be permitted 3-5 minutes, depending on how many sign-in to speak at the work session. We have just been notified by the bus garage that due to a lack of drivers this afternoon, Richard Mitchell's bus (10-23) will be a 'B' route. That means that students who normally ride that bus will board and ride Jim Eisentrout's bus (5-19) this afternoon and be taken home by Mr. Eisentrout after he finishes his normal route. Those students that normally ride Richard Mitchell's bus will then arrive home approximately 30-45 minutes late.
