Preston County Schools announce their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. Free Breakfast and Lunch is open to all children, ages 18 years and under, who would like to participate. These meals must be consumed onsite at the designated location and time. There will be no girls basketball practice Wednesday. The first summer practice will be Monday, June 20 at 5:30.

Any athlete in grades 6th-8th interested in running cross country or track for the 2022-23 school year is welcomed and encouraged to attend the optional 3 week practices from June 13-July 1st. Anyone can run! This is a great sport for winter sport conditioning and athletes of all skill levels. Athletes must have a current physical prior to participation. 3 week offseason Girl’s basketball practice for Aurora School will be held on June 15th from 5:30-6:30pm at Aurora. It is open for any girls interested in playing basketball this upcoming season. All incoming 6th-8th grade girls are welcome to attend.

GRADUATION IS OUTSIDE at Knights Stadium. It will start at 7:30PM.

Parents, just a reminder that the rock climbing wall permission slip must be returned tomorrow, Friday, May 20th.

Parents, as part of our field day festivities, a rock climbing wall has been rented for the kid. A permission slip hasl be sent home today and will need to be returned on or before Friday, May 20th. If we do not receive a permission slip for your child, he or she will not be able to participate. Should you have any questions concerning the permission slip, please reach out to our Field Day Coordinator Crystal Miller, and she will be able to assist you.

Congratulations to all our 5th grade students in Preston County and thank you to our PHS Track Team for their help and all the volunteers today.

We would like to thank Kingwood Parks and Rec for the six 3-day pool passes they donated! Students, grades 3-8, will have the opportunity to win these passes by earning tickets for demonstrating positive testing practices! They will have a new splash pad installed this summer. Notice that water slide!


Important Dates: May 19 at 6:30 Spring Concert for 5th-8th grade band students; May 20 from 6:00-8:00 Black Light Party for 6th -8th grade; May 25 Field Day; May 26 at 9:00 Awards Day Pre-K - 7th grade. Families are welcome to attend. May 26 will be 8th grade graduation starting at 7:00.
