Notice of Menu Change -Monday will be country style steak with gravy. Wednesday will be pepperoni calzones.

Parents, we have several dozen of doughnuts available for purchase. We have several glazed, strawberry iced, one lemon filled and quite a few blueberry cake. To get them sold, the price has been reduced to $5.00 a dozen. They need to be picked up during school hours. Please call the school should you have any questions.

Reminder that doughnut orders are to picked up today from 3:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. this evening April 13, 2022.

We have extra doughnuts for sale tonight. They will be ten dollars a box. Doughnuts will be available until 5:20 or supplies run out.

The Grandfamilies Program in Preston County provide educational workshops
that provide support to grandparent caregivers. They will cover the day-to-day
challenges that happen while raising a grandchild.
The program is free to attend and will be held in the evening for two hours. See picture for dates, locations and times

Attention all 8th grade parents: The 8th grade students have been working on their career portfolios in Schoology. Please help them finish up these portfolios by uploading files and pictures that they still need. They will present their portfolio during an interview with the administration at the school. The career portfolios need completed by May 17th and the interviews will be on Thursday, May 19th. The students will need to dress business casual for the interview. This interview consists of them presenting their career portfolio and being asked questions about their goals in life. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Durst at the school. Thank you

Preston County Schools is accepting applications for substitute cooks, custodians, and aides through the end of the week. Interested applicants need to visit the job posting site at https://prestonboe.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx
In addition, the required classes and testing for each of these jobs are scheduled for this week with the class for custodians beginning at 8 AM and for cooks at 10 AM at the BOE Boardroom on Thursday, April 7th. The class for aides is scheduled to begin at 8 AM at the BOE on Friday, April 8th.

Preston County Schools names, Bradley Martin, as the next superintendent at the March 28, 2022 Board Meeting


Preston County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for tomorrow, Monday, March 28th. Maintenance, mechanics, & custodians report on a regular schedule, & all other students and staff will report on a 2-hour delay. Spring Soccer Signups
Aurora Youth League will have Spring Soccer this season at the Aurora School. Twice a week we will do practice followed by games for athletes in grades PreK - 5th. Each grade group will practice together and split into teams for games. Practice will last for around 45 minutes and games will last for 45 minutes. Signups will be open through April 2nd.
