
The Aurora School LSIC group will have their final meeting for the current school year on Tuesday, May 17th at 4:30 pm in the school library. We will review our goals to note successes from this school year and look at things we were unable to accomplish.

Attention all 8th grade parents: The 8th grade students have been working on their career portfolios in Schoology. Please help them finish up these portfolios by uploading files and pictures that they still need. They will present their portfolio during an interview with community volunteers at the school. The career portfolios need completed by May 17th and the interviews will be on Thursday, May 19th. The students will need to dress business casual for the interview. This interview consists of them presenting their career portfolio and being asked questions about their goals in life. If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Durst at the school. Thank you!

Families, please be sure your student's laptop is fully charged each day. Chargers and laptops need to be brought to school each day. We begin Summative Testing this week, so make sure students have a good night's sleep.

We will be hosting an Awards Day for Pre-K through 7th grade students on May 26, 2022 beginning at 9:00 in the gymnasium.

Youth League soccer is canceled for tomorrow, May 7, 2022.

Just a reminder that there will be no school on Friday, May 6 due to teacher meetings and Tuesday, May 11, is Election Day.

8th grade parents: Your child worked with the school counselor today to complete their 2-year plan for high school. You will need to review this pink form with the 9th and 10th grade class selections with your child and both of you will need to sign the bottom. This form needs returned to the school by Thursday, May 12th. If you have any questions, please call, and talk with Mrs. Durst. Thank you!

Notice of Menu Change -Monday will be country style steak with gravy. Wednesday will be pepperoni calzones.

Parents, we have several dozen of doughnuts available for purchase. We have several glazed, strawberry iced, one lemon filled and quite a few blueberry cake. To get them sold, the price has been reduced to $5.00 a dozen. They need to be picked up during school hours. Please call the school should you have any questions.
