Hello West Preston families! We hope you had a wonderful weekend! This is a friendly reminder that picture retakes will take place on Monday, December 4th starting at 8:15am. Wednesday is our annual Ornament Party from 5-7pm! There will be a ton of stations for students and families to enjoy! We are also having spirit week days for the whole month of December! This week we will do the following:
Monday- Wear your WPS gear
Tuesday- Candy Cane, wear red and white
Wednesday- Wear a sweater
Thursday- Wear your hats, scarves, and winter gear
Friday- Wear your festive bling, lights, or sparkle
West Preston School Testing Incentive Program winners for the Fall 2023 are: Braleigh Bissett, Mila Swestock, Aubrey Shaffer, Wesley Mauzy, Traytin Hovatter, Deanne McGowan, Paigelynn McDonald, David Taylor, and the grand prize winner for the gift certificate to our generous donor Old School Pizzeria was Brantley Nichols. These students demonstrated outstanding testing behaviors and motivation during the most recent iReady diagnostic test. We are so proud of all of our students! Keep up the good work!

The Preston Squires Middle School Wrestling Team will have its first practice on November 6, 2023, at Preston High School right after school. All Preston County Middle School Students Grades 6-8 are welcome to participate. Transportation has been coordinated from all Preston County Middle Schools to Preston High for student athletes who wish to participate. The bus schedule will be posted on the Squires Wrestling Facebook Page or contact your school administrator. Hello West Preston families! FVDE will be doing a special Trick-or-Treat activity with our students tomorrow, October 26th. All students are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes to school. Cheer tryouts for West Preston (grades 6 - 8) will be October 30th from 5 - 7 pm. Girls must have a completed school physical form. **This is a one day tryout.** A brief parent and athlete meeting will be held immediately after tryouts.
