Multiple Announcements: The books and worksheets for the PK-1 Movie Night are coming home today and tomorrow. That event is now rescheduled for Thursday, May 11th at 5:30. We do have additional copies if more would like to attend - first come, first serve basis. May 18th - Fine Arts Evening - Please join us Art Show - 6-7 Concerts 1:00 and 7:00 - All students grades 4-8 are required to attend the evening concert. 8th graders - The permission slips and letters for those ineligible for the 8th grade trip to Hershey Park were sent home today. These slips need to be returned tomorrow, even if you're not wanting your child to attend. Park tickets, school bus, hotel, 8th grade shirt, and meals and drinks at the park are provided. Tickets to the Hershey Factory are free, so students will just need money for lunch and dinner Saturday, as breakfast is provided at the hotel, so $20-25. We want all those eligible to be able to attend, so if you need assistance with the $20-25, please let Mr. Hough know privately and he will take care of it. Bus will leave at 5:00 AM Friday the 19th and return the evening of the 20th.

The PK-1 "Book to Movie" Night of Clifford will be rescheduled from tomorrow evening to a new date which will be communicated tomorrow. This is due to materials arriving later than expected. All books for all ages will be going home this week for those who signed up. We do have a few extras if we have any last minute takers. Sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Preston County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for tomorrow, Wednesday March 15th. Maintenance, mechanics, & custodians report on a regular schedule, & all other students & staff will report on a 2-hour delay. The principals’ meeting will proceed as scheduled at 8:30 AM.

Preston County Schools will be closed Tuesday, March 14th & today will be a “Brain Freeze” Day. Students do not report; however, staff reports on a 2-hour delay. Bus drivers should contact the bus garage for any requirements. Sub personnel is not to report unless they are specifically directed to do so. All schools will be open from 10 AM to 12 PM for students who need help & lunches will be served from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. The guided reading training at Kingwood will occur & participants should report by 9:30 AM. The status of after school activities will be announced later today.
