Schools: Aurora, Bruceton, Fellowsville, Kingwood Elementary, Preston High (to include the football field), Rowlesburg, South Preston, Terra Alta/East Preston, Central Preston Middle and West Preston
The service you are bidding will be on an as-needed basis, per mowing request. Mowing will be done only after communication with the Preston County Schools Maintenance Supervisor, Matt Murray, or his designee.

Please submit bids for the individual locations per mowing, trimming and weed eating, for a contact period of one year along with a valid WV Business License and proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 with your bid to Preston County Schools, 731 Preston Drive, Kingwood, WV 26537. All work shall be in accordance with instructions provided by the Preston County Schools Maintenance Department (304-329-0580, ext. 3231).
The Preston County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding.

Good evening, Eagles. Parents should soon receive (if not already) a letter concerning the evacuation drill we will conduct on Wednesday, April 16th (next week). The letter explains all of our safety drills in detail. Next Wednesday, April 16th the school-wide evacuation drill will take place at approximately 1 pm. We will send another reminder next week with additional information.

And, finally, there is a PTO meeting scheduled for this Thursday, April 10th at 6 pm. We may try to add a virtual option to include more people who cannot physically make it to the school for the PTO meeting. More information will be forthcoming.

The month highlights continuing efforts to create a positive school climate and culture that meet the unique needs of military-connected children and families. In addition to hosting special activities throughout the month, many schools will participate in national “Purple Up Day” on April 11, 2025, with students, faculty and staff wearing purple as a show of support for military children.
