Good evening, Eagles. Middle school families, please make sure students return their field trip permission forms tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4th, so they may attend the community park walking field trip. We will not call home for permission for those students who fail to return their permission slips. They will have to remain at school.
Also, reminder that Thursday, June 5th, is students last day with a two hour early out. Students in attendance will bring home report cards; those absent will receive report cards in the mail.
Friday, June 6th, is the 8th grade incentive trip to Kennywood. The bus will depart TAEP at 9 am. Students must be dropped off prior to 9 am and promptly picked up upon the bus return at approximately 9 pm. The weather forecast is rain for Kennywood on Friday so students should be prepared and dress accordingly. Lunch will be provided, but students are welcome to bring money for souvenirs and additional snacks, as well as a water bottle.

Just a reminder that this Thursday, the 5th, is the last day for students, and it is a 2 hour early dismissal. We hope you all have a great summer. All staff report on the 6th, and those who didn't complete their parent teacher hours report on the 9th for 200 day employee's final day.

Today fifth grade presented their living history museum. They were amazing! Congrats to Mrs Noland and her class for a great wrap up to their year.
The fifth grade living museum is tomorrow, Thursday, May 29th from 1-2 pm either in front of the school or in the 4-5 hallway (depending on weather). All are welcome.
Good afternoon, Eagles. Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 28th is our school-wide field day with middle school participating 9 am to 11 am and elementary from 12 - 1:30 pm. The weather does not look favorable so most likely we will participate inside. Students should, however, be dressed appropriately for field day and the weather.
Also, a reminder that students will turn in their one to one devices on Friday. Students must return their laptop or iPad to the school that day with the charging cord and case and with all stickers and/or personal items removed. Students who will be absent should leave their device at school the day prior. The county will be here Friday to collect the devices.
Also on Friday, May 30th, we will wear gray in honor of our student Maddie Calhoun who is recovering from brain surgery. We're asking all students and staff to please wear gray on Friday.

Hello Eagles. This week at East we have a lot happening. Tomorrow, Tuesday, Grades 4 & 5 will be on a field trip. Wednesday the 28th is our school-wide field day. Our fifth grade will present a living museum onThursday, May 29th from 1 - 2 pm. Events will line the sidewalk in front of the school weather permitting; otherwise, we will be forced to hold the events in the 4-5 hallway. And, finally wrapping up our week, on Friday, Mrs. Hauger's first grade class will hold a book tea in the choir room and all students will turn in their one-to-one devices (laptops or iPads). Please make certain your student removes any stickers and returns the device to school with the power cord and case on Friday. Just 8 more days of school - four this week and four next week with a two hour early out the last day of school on June 5th. Have a wonderful rest of your Memorial Day and a great week!

On Wednesday we have our school-wide field day scheduled. Middle School will participate from 9 am - 11 am and elementary from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. The rain date for field day is the following day 5/29/25. Please dress students for outside weather on field day. On Friday, May 30th, students will turn in their one-to-one device (laptop or iPad). The county office technology department will be here to collect those.
