Wednesday we are celebrating Diabetes Awareness at TAEP. We're encouraging students and staff to wear royal blue and/or orange to school that day. We hope you will join us!

Good evening, Eagles. Just a reminder that Monday is spring portrait day. Also, yearbooks must be pre-ordered and the deadline is April 24th. The yearbook is sponsored by PTO who is also selling 1/2 page ads for 8th grade students. Ads are $10. There are a lot of important dates coming up between now and the end of the year. Make sure to check our events listing on our school webpage or the calendar snapshot we are sharing out on social media and our website live feed. The calendar runs the last week of April through the first week of June. We will have a school-wide evacuation drill on Wednesday, April 16th. We will send out more information and reminders the first of the week. Have a wonderful weekend!
This is a busy time of the year, so TAEP is providing a calendar ranging from the last week of April through the last week of school in June. We also keep our events listing on our school website up-to-date.

Just a reminder you can join our PTO meeting virtually tonight at 6 pm at https://tinyurl.com/EaglesPTO
May Menus:
You will notice multiple cook's choice days, which will also be each day in June, so no menus will go out for June as all are cook's choice. Cook's choice are used to either be efficient with inventory to limit on waste, or to try new items, or bring back old favorites. You will also notice that there are two "pre-packaged" days. These shelf stable meals will be tested by students, with a survey for students to follow. In the future, these will be utilized for field trips, brain freeze days and emergencies when there may not be staffing. These meals DO meet USDA school lunch requirements. If utilized more in the coming years, on those days, schools will still also provide salad bars, or other supplemental items. As always, if any questions or concerns as it relates to school meals, please direct those to Justin Hough, Director of Child Nutrition and Wellness, at jhough@k12.wv.us.

Upcoming Important Dates relating to days off or early dismissals:

Good afternoon. The Terra Alta East Preston School PTO will meet Thursday, April 10th at 6 pm at the school. We will also have a virtual option available by logging on to https://tinyurl.com/EaglesPTO. We hope you will join us either in person or virtually.
