KES would like to congratulate Miss Kylie's Gatorade Students of the Month for April! These students have shown outstanding leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship in Wellness.

Kingwood Elementary School PTA would like to thank everyone that supported the drive-thru spaghetti dinner on Friday night. There are a few quarts of sauce left for sale $10 a quart. First come first serve. See Kim in the mai office.

Tomorrow marks the final 4 weeks of school! These last days are important, and to encourage students to be present ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, KES will be drawing ONE LUCKY WINNER to join their homeroom teacher on a $50 Walmart Shopping Spree on May 25th! Each day, students who arrive and leave ON TIME will have their names put into the drawing. The more days you are present, the more chances you will have to WIN! Good luck, and we look forward to seeing EVERYONE from 7:35 to 2:20 tomorrow!

If a student misses school, for one or more days, the student must submit an excuse from his/her parent or guardian to their homeroom teacher stating the reason for the absence. The homeroom teacher will send the reason to the school secretary to record the reason in WVEIS.
Notes must be submitted within three (3) school days of the student's return.

KES Families: Please remember that our dismissal time is 2:20PM DAILY. After 1:45PM, students will need to either be picked up on the Fireman's Field or at the Hotdog Stand as Price Street Walkers. ONLY 18 DAYS TO GO...Let's make them count!

We can’t wait to see everyone back and ready to learn at Kingwood Elementary at 7:35 tomorrow morning!

All 4th Grade students will participate in a 45-minute math fluency test on 4/21. This test is a great opportunity to practice for the end of year test in May. The test is part of a math research study for Educational Testing Service (ETS). No individual student information will be collected. Students will need their laptops and chargers at school on 4/19 to get ready for the test. We have a great partnership with ETS and if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to call Mrs. Zeigler at KES.
