We need 5-6 people each day.
Deck the Halls: Dec. 7, 4:45-6:45PM
We need 14-16 people to help set up and run activities.
Everything will be provided.
Christmas Program: Set up between 7AM and 3PM on 12/19
We need approximately 10 people to help set up and tear down after the program.
Get in on the fun! If you are able to help with any of these events, please text Jill Zeigler at 304-692-9716 for more information.

Attention all veterans! Just a reminder that our Veterans Day Assembly at KES will start at 1PM today in the gym. Upon arrival, please park at the funeral home or Fireman's Field and sign in at the main office. See you this afternoon!

KES Families: Just a reminder that fundraiser items can be picked up until noon today. Any items not picked up will be sent home with students this afternoon.

KES Families:
This is just a friendly reminder about arrival and dismissal times as well as drop-off and pick-up procedures.
Drop off occurs from 7:15AM-7:30AM daily. Please do not enter our parking lot with a personal vehicle unless it is AFTER 7:40AM as we still have busses pulling in until that time. Dismissal occurs at 2:25PM daily. Students can only be signed out of the main office until 1:45PM. After 1:45PM, you must follow regular dismissal/pick-up procedures. Recently, we have had several busses that have been unable to pull in and park in the lot because their designated spots are blocked by personal vehicles.
As always, thank you for your assistance in keeping our staff and students safe!

Fundraiser items have arrived at KES! If you sold items, you may pick them up tomorrow, November 9th, from 9AM-12PM. Items not picked up will be sent home with students at dismissal. Thanks for your support!

Congratulations to Mrs. Royce's Second Grade Class for being the ONLY group to design a contraption that allowed their pumpkin to survive the drop from the KVFD truck lift! The annual Pumpkin Drop is an event that both students and staff look forward to that wouldn't be possible without the generous volunteering of time and materials by the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department. We would also like to extend a special thanks to Kingwood Walmart for donating the pumpkins!

Kingwood Elementary Students have been becoming college and career ready this week! Each morning on STOMP News, a college fun fact has been shared, while students and teachers have learned about and discussed information to get them thinking about their futures. In addition, a school-wide career collage has been created in the hallway for all to see. Tomorrow, we will wrap up College and Career Exploration Week by wearing our favorite college colors. See you in the morning!

KES Students: Remember that Picture Day is tomorrow, November 2nd! Can't wait to see your smiling faces in the morning!
