Today, our students had the opportunity to practice their STOMP expectations on the school bus! 🚌🦌 From the moment their hooves hit the pavement to the moment they climb aboard, students are learning how to make safe, respectful, and responsible choices.
Because positive behavior to and from school matters! When students STOMP their way to school with positive choices, they are preparing to be socially successful and ready for a day of learning. And when they STOMP their way home, they are helping create a safe and positive ride so everyone can arrive home ready for an evening of relaxation. ❤️

KES: Eddie's Shaved Ice will be at the Block Party! Upon signing in, each STUDENT will receive a ticket for a free small, shaved ice! Other family members/attendees (parents, older or younger siblings, etc.) may purchase a shaved ice for $2 each. See you tonight!
KES: Come back and see us this evening from 5-7PM at the Back to School Block Party! There will be lots of free activities (including food)! You may also bring money for Eddie's Shaved Ice, Tattoo the Teacher, and PTA membership if you wish. Hope to see you there!
KES: Remember that tomorrow evening from 5-7PM is our Back to School Block Party hosted by PTA! Lots of fun--including dunk tank, tie dye shirts, and Eddie's Shaved Ice--will be available as well as family and community resource information! We cannot wait to start the new year with YOU! Remember to bring money for Tattoo the Teacher and complete membership registration for PTA!
Parents, please be advised that your child should be bringing home a paper packet that will allow you to review and update your child's student information and medical information. In addition, the packet will also direct you to complete a brief online form to update additional student information. Please return these packets so that school personnel can update this information as soon as possible. This is a change from previous years in which information was updated exclusively using an online form. Please contact your school with any questions or concerns with this new process.
Preston County Schools will be conducting hearing, speech, language, and vision screenings in our schools in the months of September and October. These screenings are for students entering school for the first time who have not been screened, students who have been referred for re-screenings from the previous year, and/or any students referred by teachers. Parents will be notified if any student should not pass the screenings.
Those who do not wish their child to be tested must contact their respective school in writing. For additional information, you may
contact the Preston County Schools, Special Education Department at 304-329-0580, extension 3220 or 3239.
