One of our fourth grade students, Claire Bean, placed 4th among students in the greater Morgantown area for the NETL Earth Day Poster Contest! The winning posters were forwarded to the U.S. Department of Energy’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. for display! Great job, Claire!


Mrs. Everline's kids proved they have what it takes to keep the county 3rd grade writing trophy in their class for informational writing. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Bruceton Middle School Track team after competing at the Preston County Meet II. Everyone ran well and we had several school records broken. Maverick Smoot broke the 100 meter record, the High Jump record, and the Shot Put record. Logan Waldo broke the 200 meter and 400 meter records. Whitney Cox broke the 100 meter record. Chloe Belanger broke her own Long Jump record. And the boys 4x100 meter relay team of Brody Bryner, Tyler Kingan, Trevor Spiker, and Logan Waldo broke their own school record. The team will compete again at the Mon/Preston challenge at Mylan Park on Wednesday, April 19th.





On Tuesday, April 18, Bruceton Community Lions will be conducting eye screenings for students in PreK, Kindergarten, Second Grade and Seventh Grade.
If you do not want your child to participate, please send a note to their home room teacher stating you do not want them screened.
We want to thank the Lions Club for this valuable service.

The Magical Storyteller did a special secret show for our primary grades this afternoon. Some of our kids even got in on the act! The Magical Storyteller's main show is tonight at 6:00. Hope to see everyone there. All the kids who come out will get a book machine token for a free book.

Students in grades 6-8 have two days left to purchase tickets for semi-formal, if they plan to attend the event. Due to the event being a catered dinner, no tickets will be sold after Friday, April 14th. Tickets are available for purchase during lunch.
