Our middle school life skills class tried their hand at some basic cooking today. They made omelettes with fresh veggies. We're happy to report they did not burn down the building .... lol! Thanks to Mrs. Parks for all her work helping teach kids life skills!
We want to thank the Bruceton Lions Club for supporting our school! They have donated cash prizes to the top three donut selling students. First place is $100, second place is $75, and third place is $50. You can still place orders through September 20th. All orders and money have to be returned by September 20th. We love our community and thank you for your support!
The wooded area and that portion of the walking trail behind the school is closed until further notice. The county maintenance department will be doing tree-work there. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to keep everyone safe. The rest of the trail, football field, and basketball court are still open to use.
If you weren't able to send in your donut orders and money today, we can still take orders and money through Sept. 20th. That is the absolute deadline for orders and money. It's donut time! Bruceton School is selling Krispy Kreme donuts. You can place your order with our students. Orders and money are due back here at the school on September 20th, but if you can get them back to us by the 15th, we'd appreciate it. Donuts will be delivered on October 4th and 5th. We plan to use the funds raised, along with our levy funds, and funds from the Academic Boosters to help continue replacing student classroom furniture throughout the building and more. Thank you to our wonderful community for all your support!

Today we pause to remember the 9/11 attacks on America. Today, Miss Moss' students learned about symbolism and then created a piece of art that represented hope after 9/11. Mrs. Tanner's class did memorial ribbons.
