Menu Change for Tuesday, 11-19. Due to an unavailability issue from distribution, the 19th will no longer be a BBQ Rib sandwich, but will be replaced with a bbq pulled pork sandwich. All other accompaniments are the same.

Good evening. Just a reminder that tomorrow, November 5th, Election Day, there is no school for students and staff in Preston County. Again, tomorrow the 5th, there will be no school for students in Preston County. See you all back Wednesday.


Students that normally ride Bus 64 are being picked up approximately 45 minutes to an hour later that was announced. Parents, if possible, we are asking that you please bring your child/children to school.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Friday, November 1, from 4 to 6 p.m.


The Preston County Consolidated Middle School Wrestling Team (Squires Wrestling) will have two informational meetings along with sign-ups on Monday, November 4, 2024, and Friday, November 8, 2024, at 6:00PM at the new wrestling facility at the Preston High School Campus. If you are unable to attend any of the two meetings you can also sign up online with, the following link, visit our Facebook Page or contact your school office. Thank you .

Bus announcement: Due to bus 64-15 not running Friday, the following changes have been made to ensure all students have bus transportation to school on November 1. Bus 19-21, Stanley Harsh, will be picking up his route 5-10 minutes late in the a.m. and the drop off will be 5-10 minutes late in the p.m. Stanley will pick up Accident Road approximately 5-10 minutes later than normal in both the a.m. and p.m. Bus 31-21, Rick Bachtel, will be transporting the remaining students. Rick's a.m. route will be picked up approximately 10-15 minutes early and dropped off at their normal time. Other than Accident Road, Bus 64 students will be picked up approximately 15-20 minutes later than normal in the a.m. and dropped of 30 minutes later in the p.m.

Aurora's Student Council will be selling school apparel. Order forms will be sent home today. Orders are due November 15th. Checks should be made payable to Aurora School PTO. You can order online at https://www.affordablesignsunlimited.com/vendors/





With the exception of Aurora's 6th-8th grades (due to technical difficulties), your student should've brought their first grading period report home with them today. Please go over this with your student and if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your student's teacher(s) and/or administration.
