Preston County Schools is seeking two interested 11th or 12th grade students to serve as student Board of Education members for the 2025-26 academic year. Interested students must submit their applications to Preston County Schools Superintendent Mr. Brad Martin via email at brrmarti@k12.wv.us by Monday, November 4, 2025.

Scam Alert: Fake WVSSAC Facebook Account (PCS will always post if we're streaming an event and on what platforms)

The WVSSAC has been made aware of fake social media (Facebook) accounts claiming to represent the WVSSAC and sharing links to live streams of high school football games. These links are not official and may be attempts to steal personal information or compromise devices.

Please exercise caution when engaging with posts or accounts claiming to represent the WVSSAC. (Or any entity claiming to stream a PCS event that hasn't been put on previously)

The official WVSSAC Facebook page has over 32,000 followers. We encourage you to verify the page details before clicking on links or sharing posts. Any other accounts claiming to be the WVSSAC, or tagging schools in suspicious posts, should be reported to Facebook immediately.

Issuance of report cards for 3rd through 8th grade students at South Preston School will be delayed until Monday, October 27th to allow time for grade verification. Kindergarten through 2nd grade report cards will be issued and coming home today as scheduled. Any 3-8 student already picking up their report card, may receive another corrected or verified copy on Monday.
