Hello West Preston families! This message includes information about the Lawyer in the School program along with an opportunity for free gardening classes through the WVU extension office. We have also included a friendly reminder about the mandated lessons we are required to provide through our school counselor or by bringing in outside agencies. Also, don't forget about our spirit week this week for Read Across America! Have a wonderful week!

Read Across America Week is celebrated from March 2nd to 6th — it begins on the birthday of the beloved author, Dr. Seuss, who many schools are celebrating with a spirited dress-up week. The entire month of March, in fact, is dedicated to reading. This week, we'll be featuring a different PHS student doing a daily read aloud that our schools can share and watch with their students. First up is IsaBella Miller, a member of the Preston High School's Lady Knight's Basketball Team and journalist-to- be. She chose to read the book titled, My Tooth is Loose.
