October 20-24, 2025 is National School Bus Safety Week. Keep bus stop safety at the top of your list this school year. School buses carry our most precious cargo—our children. Every stop is a chance to protect their journey. We thank our community members for following the law, our local law enforcement for monitoring and enforcing the laws, and our PCS Bus Drivers for ensuring our students' safety to and from our schools and events.

Interested in being a chaperone or volunteer? Join us Tuesday October 28th at 5pm for a one hour long training at West Preston. To be fully approved you will have to have your paperwork done as well as your background check with the Sheriff's office and the training. If you cant make this one, we will be offering another before we get in full swing of field trips in the spring. We look forward to seeing you!
Early Dismissal Reminder - Tomorrow, Friday October 17th is a 2 hour early dismissal for students.

This morning West Preston School went on a brief hold to maintain safety while administration looked into a situation. It was deemed that there was not a threat to the building, our students, or our staff, and the hold was then lifted. As always, the safety of our students is our first priority and the use of a hold or lockdown helps to maintain that safety. We appreciate your understanding.
