Mrs. Noonan's life skills class welcomed volunteer Kelsey Clark today to help make freezer jam. Each student had a specific job on the assembly line and gets to take home a jar. Thank you to Kelsey Clark and all our volunteers for their help and support!

Bruceton School's Academic Boosters will meet on Tuesday, January 9th at 6pm in the cafeteria. All are invited to attend.

Students in the middle school life skills class have finished sewing their own pillows. We're thankful for our community for donating the supplies. The kids hand-sewed and stuffed these pillows themselves, with a little assistance from their teacher.

Our old band uniforms from the 1990s have reached the end of their lifespan. We're giving out the old jackets, helmets, plumes, and more. Quite a few of our current band students have been modeling and trying them out. Some are saying they make them look like the English Queen's Guard. For Mrs. Harvey, seeing the old uniforms was a trip down memory lane from when she wore them way back when she was in middle school band here. If you're interested in having an old uniform for posterity, just contact Mrs. Rexroad.

Our elementary and middle school student councils are sponsoring a food drive to restock the Bruceton food pantry. It's supplies are very low after the holidays. We'll be collecting non-perishable items from January 8th through January 19th. You can find details in the attached graphic. Thank you for all your help and support. We truly have the best community in Preston County!

Our cafeteria and breezeway were looking sharp to welcome kids back today! Our custodians waxed the floors over break and we want to give a huge thank you to Brian Sell for the new paint job! We have been able to purchase paint and painting supplies through the county school excess levy to repaint all around the building.

Work never stops! Our custodians have been putting on some fresh wax to keep the sensory path decals safe and the hallways looking sharp. That, along with disinfecting, and some other things we can't get to when the kids are here.
