Tomorrow, students in grades 3-8 will take the West Virginia State Writing Assessment. This is part of the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA). Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep beforehand and comes to school with their device charged. Also, make sure they have either a good breakfast at home or eat school breakfast. It's important that your child attends school on this day so as to not have to take the makeup assessment.

It's time to celebrate National School Breakfast Week, March 4-8! All students in Preston County Schools (PCS) have an opportunity to start their morning off with a free breakfast at school. This week reminds us of the importance of a healthy balanced breakfast, which includes a variety of breakfast items, fruit, juice, and milk.

Parents: Here's how to log into BeanStack to log your child's reading. Right now our school is leading the county!

Thanks to Wolf Den Treats, made by one of our cooks, first grade experienced freeze dried Ice Cream Sandwiches. Just like what the astronauts would eat!
