“Make a career of humanity. Commit yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a better person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in.” - MLK Jr. Today, along with the rest of the country, PCS on this day off, remembers and honors the legacy of Dr. King. Like his, our goals will always be to make this a better world for our children today and tomorrow.

Great efforts all around from Ainsley Cox, Paisley Schnopp, and Eileen Parks all with 2 points each. Kaylee Ringer rounded us out with 1 point as well! Moving on to the boys — they came out victorious with a 37-28 win! Colton Everline led the charge with 9 points, and Gage Hendershot added 8 more to the board. Hats off to Callen Knox with 6 points, Tyler Parks with 5 points, Braden Armstrong with 4 points, Paxton Berger and Thomas Rogers with 2 points each, and Jackson Wotring with 1 point. The team's hard work and determination really paid off! Looking ahead, we’ve got an exciting week coming up! The boys will be taking on Turkeyfoot at home this coming Tuesday. Weather Alert
Due to circumstances and technical difficulties beyond our control with our communications program, which is the reason for parents missing bus calls, we will be placing any and all future bus change calls to the school call lists to ensure no one gets missed. What this means is that if there is a change to a bus in the West Preston area, all West Preston and PHS students will receive that call. This also means, you could receive multiple calls in a row some days. This will only be temporary, and we apologize for those of you, primarily PHS students and parents, who could receive the most calls. Hopefully, better weather is on the way, but in the meantime, we have a plan to remedy the situation, but it will take some time to update all information. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience. As always, you can find all of our information on the app, as well as Facebook, so when in doubt, check for updates prior to sending your student out. Thank you and have a good evening.

Due to the vast number of recent weather delays and cancellations, report cards will now be distributed on January 31st, as opposed to the original January 24th date. This extra week will allow for teachers to collect student work and enter term 2 grades, so that way the reports are accurate and not missing grades.
