
Today we’re spotlighting kindergartener Jayden Sigley! Miss Cain says he is an encouraging friend in the classroom and is everyone's biggest cheerleader. He tries his best and works hard with everything he does. Way to go Jayden!


Miss Neff’s kindergarteners have been learning about the life cycle of a seed and different types of plants this week. They planted seeds today to watch them grow!

Today we’re spotlighting first grader Sophia Strawser! Her teacher, Mrs. Singer, says that Sophia always puts her best effort into everything she does. Today she worked so hard during a math game that she broke a sweat! Keep it up Sophia!

Today we’re spotlighting kids in the TAG program. Their team, the Bear Dogs, which is a combined team with students from Aurora, placed 8th out of 15 teams at the MARS scrimmage Friday night. Our Bruceton kids have been collaborating virtually with kids from Aurora and Friday was the first time they met in person. The team moves on to states on March 20th.

From the bus garage: buses 32 and 75-16 will not be running tomorrow (Friday). Students going to Kings and Queens daycare in the afternoon will ride bus 35. There will be no shuttle bus for softball players to the field.

Mrs. Walls’ first graders worked on their counting and science skills to see how many animals their iceberg will hold before it sinks. So far, the record is 56 animals.

The Preston County Youth Center will be hosting "Youth Night Out" on the first Friday of each month from 6-8:30 PM. Youth of all ages can enjoy an evening of games, crafts, & dinner. In addition, if you are into cheerleading, an NFL cheerleader will be leading a cheer clinic during the event.
