Students in grades 6-8 have two days left to purchase tickets for semi-formal, if they plan to attend the event. Due to the event being a catered dinner, no tickets will be sold after Friday, April 14th. Tickets are available for purchase during lunch.

1. All 8th graders must return their signed PEP plan tomorrow. This is required for all rising high school students by the State of West Virginia.
2. Bruceton Academic Boosters will meet tomorrow at 6pm in the cafeteria. All are welcome to attend.
3. This Wednesday, our middle school softball team plays arch rival Central here at Bruceton. It will be free admission as a thank-you to our community. First pitch is at 6:00 at the youth league ball fields.
Students in Mrs. Clark's kindergarten class worked on a STEM activity today where they had to work in teams to build the highest egg tower with only using eggs and play doh.
Tonight's home softball game against Tucker County is cancelled. The softball team will practice on the field from 5-7pm tonight though.

Tonight's home softball game against Suncrest Middle is cancelled. Practice will now be from 5:00 - 7:00 at the softball field.
It was a gorgeous day today on the playground. Our 4th graders ventured over to visit and play some catch with our PK kiddos.
Bus 27 will be replacing bus 77-16 and it will now be running on time.

Bruceton School had several students recognized at last night's county Young Writer's Festival Awards. Congratulations to 5th grader Adalyn Singer for winning first place in the 5th/6th grade prose competition. 7th grader Harmony Rankin came in 3rd place in the county in the middle school competition. 8th grader Sally Stennette placed second in the middle school competition for poetry. 8th grader Lyla Fisher also received an honorable mention in the middle school competition. 8th grader McKinley Kidwell was also honored in the middle school competition. 3rd grader Mila Peddicord was also honored for her prose entry in the 3rd grade competition too. Also recognized for prose in the grade 3/4 competition was 4th grader Kamryn Cunningham. 5th grader Kelsey Jenkins received 2nd place in the county for poetry in the 5/6 grade competition. Also 6th grader Eileen Parks was recognized for prose in the 5/6 grade competition. Congratulations to all our Bulldog Young Writers!
