Next week, May 8 - May 11, students in grades 3-8 will take the West Virginia General Summative Assessment (GSA). It is critical that students are here to take the test. Makeups will begin on May 12th. There are a lot of field trips scheduled for the remainder of the month. If a student still has a GSA test to makeup on the date of a field trip, they will unfortunately have to stay at school to complete the test. Again, please make sure that your student is here for the regularly scheduled GSA test dates on May 8 - May 11.

If you have or know someone who has a child ready to start pre-k or kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year, please have them come by the school to register as soon as possible. This will help to get their child a spot in pre-k and help us plan for the upcoming year. If your child is already in pre-k at Bruceton School, you do not need to re-register them for kindergarten. Feel free to call the school with any questions at 304-379-2593.
