Jim Eisentrout, bus 5-19, will be taking students who normally ride Kyle Lee's first run to the daycare, Krys View, etc. at approximately 2:05-2:10.
Jim Eisentrout will then return to the school for regular dismissal at 2:18 and take both his regular students and Kyle Lee's second run Pisgah area students together. Students who normally ride Kyle Lee's Pisgah area bus will arrive home approximately 30-45 minutes late this evening.

Just a reminder to parents. This was due Thursday. Your students device will not work at school tomorrow if the AUP hasn't been accepted. Please go to the link and fill out today. (From Monday, September 21st) - Reminder for parents to complete the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) prior to this weekend:
When your student brought home their contact information packet for verification for you to sign and return, there was also a QR code and a link to other policies that needed signed, including the AUP. If this wasn't completed, your student's device will no longer have access following Buckwheat. If you didn't complete, please go to the following link and complete before Thursday, the 24th.

Tomorrow is the first school-level Board meeting at the Bruceton School with the meeting beginning at 6 PM in the school library. Superintendent Martin will be onsite at the Bruceton School tomorrow afternoon from 2:30 to 4:00 pm in the school cafeteria to provide time to speak with anyone with questions or concerns. Visitors may come to meet with Mr. Martin during this time and enter the school cafeteria from the marked doors near the school playground.

Happy Buckwheat! Just a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday the 24th is a 2 Hour Early Dismissal, and there will be no school on Friday the 25th and the B.O.E. Offices will be closed. Students will not return until Tuesday the 29th, as Monday is a Professional Learning Day for Staff. We hope everyone has a safe, fun and Happy Buckwheat Festival.

The team ran great, with multiple top finishers. Elaina Armstrong took 1st overall in the girls race, while Eli Parker was the top boys runner. Jackson Wotring also scored a top 10 finish.

Earlier today, the McGrew Society celebrated eight outstanding Preston County students who were the top performers from the county on the 2026 Golden Horseshoe Test, and were being honored as the newest members of the Order of the Rhododendron. Congratulations to these now Freshman students, previously 8th graders at the following schools: Ainsley Feathers of South Preston School, Alexis Atkins and Van Cooper of West Preston School, Vada Walsh of Terra Alta/East Preston School (not pictured), Myla Zinn of Central Preston Middle School, and Levi Cunningham(Not Pictured), Tyler Parks (Not Pictured), and Riley Hagedorn of Bruceton School! Maren Hardesty, 1st Grade Student at West Preston, had the honor of serving as Page for this year's ceremony, which was presided over by Susan Hardesty of the McGrew Society, with well-wishes given from Superintendent of PCS Brad Martin, State Senators Taylor and Smith, Delegate Street, and an amazing speech outlining the preservation of our Preston County History and the McGrew House from Rosemary Bernatowicz, the president of the Society for the Preservation of the McGrew House. We're proud of all of these students, their former teachers and administrators, thankful for each of their families, and so grateful to have a community and community organizations that support our students' learnings and achievements.
