A required class for anyone interested in becoming a substitute custodian for Preston County Schools is scheduled on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at the Preston County BOE Boardroom. The custodian class will begin at 12:30 PM.
All potential applicants must be a high school graduate, pass the online custodian exam given at the class, complete a criminal background check, and will need to submit a bid for the position by visiting https://prestonboe.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx.

Makeup Game between South Preston and Aurora will be held December 21st. Girls' game begins at 5:45 and boy's game begins at 7:00.
There will be no After School Explorers on Thursday, December 16 due to the concert that evening.
Don't forget that Thursday night is our holiday concert and Friday night is our Whoville Celebration. The Aurora Youth League will be selling pizza and pepperoni rolls during the Whoville Celebration. Also, Santa will be here with a special treat!

Maintenance, mechanics, and all AM and PM custodians, including cook/custodians report on a regular schedule and may depart two hours early from their shifts. In September 2021 you received a printed copy of your child's WV
General Summative Test Results and the SAT Test Results. The WVDE is providing an individual video score report for your student as part of a statewide pilot program. An email was send to your child's email address this afternoon (11/30/21) for you to access it and/or your personal email address if you have one on file. When the Lions Club was here on October 27th, they experienced technical difficulties with the students that had a referral. They want to retest students, that previously produced a permission form, to make sure the test results are accurate. Therefore, weather permitting, we have set aside December 8th or December 9th at 9:00 to conduct the retesting.
