The Preston County Youth Center (PCYC) is seeking input in the interest level of parents at West Preston School and Preston High School who would be interested in their children participating in after school programming at the PCYC. Programming will be offered Monday - Friday after-school until 6 PM and will include tutoring services, physical activities, and a healthy snack.

In order to honor and better serve the needs of families with a guardian or other family member in the military, we have created this form to allow guardians to report the status of military family members. 4 Bus Routes in Kingwood Area Cancelled for Monday and Tuesday,
February 7 & 8, 2022. 39-22 Robin Rhodes, 40-22 Bill McNair, 64-15 Robin Riffle, and 121 Cody Elliott. Just a reminder that Kingwood Elementary is closed on Monday due to a water line break.

Kingwood Elementary will be closed for students on Monday, February 7th due to water line break at the school. Staff will report on a regular schedule, and all other district schools will operate on a normal schedule.

Staff development training will take place remotely for all professional & service personnel staff including board-hired, long-term & leave of absence subs. Preston County Schools will be closed for tomorrow, Friday, February 4th for a scheduled staff development. Due to impending winter weather, all scheduled extracurricular activities for Friday are cancelled. School-affiliated activities scheduled for Saturday, February 5th will tentatively proceed after 11 AM. All community basketball leagues games scheduled at district schools have been cancelled for this weekend.

Preston County Schools will be dismissing early today, Friday, January 28th. Preston High School will be dismissing at approximately 12 PM with other schools dismissing upon the arrival of buses from PHS, which will be approximately 2-hours early. All extracurricular activities are cancelled for tonight.
