PCS Testing Incentive Program is proud to announce our Kahoot Bowl Winners for Quarter 4 (May 2024).




Preston County Schools and the WV Dept of Education are proud to announce PCS Golden Horseshoe Winners for 2024: Brianna Watkinson (CPMS), Kaiden Rankin (SPS), Sarah Dew (SPS), and Jacob Smith-Tatham (WPS). Since 1931, students have been honored as knights of the Golden Horseshoe by the WV Dept of Education, having demonstrated exceptional knowledge of WV history on the state administered exam. This year, 227 winners will join the ranks of WV citizens who have won this prestigious award.


The PHS JROTC Raider Competition last week landed Preston High a 3rd place finish, while Connellsville A Team, placed 1st; Plum High School, 2nd; Northern Garrett, 4th; & Connellsville B Team, 5th. Events included a mile run, rope bridge, relay race, litter carry, knot tying, and a .5 KM road march.






Bus 129, Casey Feather, for Bruceton School, will be running 30 - 40 minutes late this afternoon, Thursday, May 16th.

Tomorrow, Friday, May 17th, Mon Power advised there will be a planned power outage approximately 2 pm to 2:15 pm. The outage will impact the Kingwood, West Preston, & South Preston areas. In the event of inclement weather the outage will take place on Monday, May 20th instead.

The PCS Board of Education recognized a group of Preston High School students today for their accomplishment in Microsoft Training. Along with their teacher Deanna Daff the students were congratulated by the board of education and Superintendent Brad Martin.
