Preston County Schools will dismiss all schools one-hour early today, Thursday, January 6th and all after-school activities are cancelled. In addition, all schools will operate on a two-hour delay for tomorrow, Friday, January 7th. Maintenance, mechanics, & custodians, report on a regular schedule; and all other students and staff report on a two-hour delay. A required class for anyone interested in becoming a substitute custodian for Preston County Schools is scheduled on Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at the Preston County BOE Boardroom. The custodian class will begin at 12:30 PM. All potential applicants must be a high school graduate, pass the online custodian exam given at the class, complete a criminal background check, and will need to submit a bid for the position by visiting https://prestonboe.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx. In September 2021 you received a printed copy of your child's WV General Summative Test Results and the SAT Test Results. The WVDE is providing an individual video score report for your student as part of a statewide pilot program. An email was send to your child's email address this afternoon (11/30/21) for you to access it and/or your personal email address if you have one on file.
