
Preston County Schools will be closed Tuesday, March 14th & today will be a “Brain Freeze” Day. Students do not report; however, staff reports on a 2-hour delay. Bus drivers should contact the bus garage for any requirements. Sub personnel is not to report unless they are specifically directed to do so. All schools will be open from 10 AM to 12 PM for students who need help & lunches will be served from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. The guided reading training at Kingwood will occur & participants should report by 9:30 AM. The status of after school activities will be announced later today.

We had an excellent turnout for Pre-k and Kindergarten registration for the 2023-2024 school year! We appreciate everyone who stopped by to register. If you were not able to attend the registration event, please stop by the school or contact us at 304-568-2292 to complete an application as soon as possible. Decisions will be made soon about staffing and the number of classes that will be needed for next school year.

Pre-K enrollment will be from 9:00 to 2:00 on Friday, January 13. Just come to the school and enroll. Also, any parents with students either in Pre-K at other schools or not enrolled should contact the school or come to the enrollment session. This is if you want to have your child in our kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year.
