On February 8th and 9th 2023, the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Initiative will be presenting a program in your child's class at Preston High School.
This program will contain age appropriate, medically accurate information about adolescent reproductive health. The presentation includes discussion about: healthy and unhealthy relationships, communication, reproductive life planning and the cost of teen pregnancy-physical, emotional, financial. There will be discussion about sexting and social media, consent, and coercion, as well as, birth control methods, abstinence, sexually transmitted infections (STI's) and the WV Family Planning Program (WV FPP).
If you DO NOT WANT your child to attend, please return the "opt out" form provided in the link below- dated and signed to Preston High School by Monday, February 6, 2023. Your student will be given an "opt out" form (purple paper copy) by their teacher in class.
