The following students participated in the All-State Choir and All State Chamber choir at the WVACDA Conference in Morgantown January 26-28.
Ingrid Nelson was selected to participate in the All State Chamber choir that performed under the direction of Dr. Stan Engebretson. Ingrid was one of 8 women selected in the soprano 2 section. Selection to this group was based on a state-wide audition that was held in November.
Abigail Nesci, Dakota Nelder, Gracie Barto and Carolyn Reed sang as part of a 200-voice choir under the direction of Sherry Blevins. They performed a piece that was commissioned for the group and sang a composition that was written at the conference.
Mrs. Deborah Westbrook and Mrs. Shauna Bloom are the directors of these wonderful students.
