Preston High School is proud to announce that Ira Shaffer, a PHS Junior, has been named as a National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist. To qualify for this prestigious recognition, a student must have a record of very high academic performance throughout high school, a recommendation by the high school principal, and a high score on the PSAT.
