On Saturday, October 7th, the PHS boys' and girls' soccer teams honored 9 women for their courage and bravery as they have fought and conquered breast cancer. With 74 years combined remission, we recognize them in front of family, friends, and fans. Congratulations to these strong women.
October is breast cancer awareness month. It serves as a reminder of the importance of regular breast examinations and mammograms to detect breast cancer at an early, more treatable stage.
