With today being a Brain Freeze Day and being a curricular day, extra-curricular activities may proceed based on improving road conditions. Setup for the County Social Studies Fair will proceed as scheduled from 5-7 PM at the Craig Civic Center. The scheduled Preston High boys' & girls' basketball games will proceed as scheduled as well. In addition, all other high school or middle school athletic teams may practice this evening with practice schedules and times being communicated by individual coaches. However, shuttle buses will not run today. Finally, no ASE activities will occur at district schools this evening.

Kingwood Grasshopper Basketball League sign-ups are being shared on Facebook with a form to fill out. Sign-ups will continue through Monday, February 21. The Grasshopper Basketball League is an in-county league that serves to bridge the gap between youth league and organized school ball. The teams play at other schools within the county.

Due to impending winter weather, all staff will not report in person tomorrow, Friday, February 4th. Staff development training will take place remotely for all professional & service personnel staff including board-hired, long-term & leave of absence subs. Service personnel will be completing online training assigned by classification that will not be available until Friday.
