Preston County Schools

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Preston County District Social Studies Fair was held at the Craig Civic Center. County Fair Coordinator, Mrs. Debbie Zigray, indicated that over 100 projects were entered, with 39 individual or group projects placing 1st and advancing to the Regional Social Studies Fair at Glenville State University on April 7, 2026. Special Congratulations to Evie Durst of Aurora on winning this year's Dr. Teets Award. Preston County has a strong reputation at the state level for high quality projects and presentations and will hopefully have a strong showing again this year. Congratulations to all the winners and participants.
