Students create masks at KES thanks to levy funds

Kingwood Elementary students (grades K - 4) have produced multiple art projects over the past several months thanks to funds allocated from the levy. Art teacher Mrs. Adams shared that all supplies for these projects were purchased with levy funds. All of the art in the photos, with the exception of the basket weaving and color wheel projects, was displayed at the show in March. While the basket weaving and color wheel projects were not a part of the show, those projects were also funded with levy funds. Kingwood Principal Samantha Peaslee is thankful that the students had the opportunity to explore art in such creative ways thanks to the levy. "Without the levy funds, our students would have missed out on so many opportunities in art," said Peaslee.
