Preston County Schools

Bruceton School students honored veterans today during a special ceremony. The day kicked off with a veterans breakfast followed by the annual program. The Preston High School JROTC color guard presented the colors while the Bruceton School band and choir performed the national anthem and everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance. The program continued with a song by the preK class, followed by a K-4 song, comments from Superintendent Brad Martin, readings from select 5th grade students, another choir performance, a veterans roll call from Principal Jonas Knotts, a song performed by the band, and closing remarks from Principal Knotts.
