Preston County Schools (PCS) website is under construction! Stay tuned for redesign of PCS website, which will streamline usability. Changes will occur throughout the next couple of months with the News section (homepage) highlighting those changes as they happen.
Recent changes include the Menu Button changed from a drop down selection to scrollable text; the Live Feed section moved to a horizontal position just below the Gallery to feature all of the latest updates; the Events section now lives where the Live Feed used to; and the News section remains the same.
To better inform our community, the News section is used for feature stories and lengthier items that require more space than Live Feed can provide. While the Live Feed is an ongoing record of the messages distributed by PCS.
Coming soon, the Gallery section will feature photos from around PCS highlighting recent events and featuring our students and staff. Important information that was originally scrolling in the Gallery will be highlighted in a new location and featured with a button designating it. A news story will be posted when that change is made.
PCS is also working on better serving our community by increasing our level of ADA compliance on our website.
