Preston County Virtual School

Virtual School Applications are now OPEN for 2024 - 2025

  • Virtual school will be available to students entering grades 6 - 12 

  • Virtual school is free to Preston County School students and students are eligible to participate in sports and extra-curriculars

  • Preston County Schools virtual students who complete state prescribed graduation requirements will receive a PHS diploma

  • Application and daily, consistent Internet access are required

  • Preston County home school students are encouraged to apply to replace or supplement their home school education

Credit Recovery

Students are enrolled in credit recovery by recommendation from their school counselor to make up credits needed for graduation. Students are enrolled in one credit recovery course at a time. Students who need to make up multiple credits must keep this in mind and work quickly through their course work. Once a course is completed the next course may be added.
